This is the first book I've read by Nancy Jensen; she is a very good author. She knows how to pull and pull on your heartstrings. I wouldn't recommend this book if you are looking for something light and fun to read. If you like to read books that make you cry – as I know some people that do – this is a book for you. There are so many calamities that befall the women in this book, it is a wonder they survive, but survive they do. It is a strong female lead story and definitely a drama. It is also a lesson to communicate with the people in your life because secrets may change your path and the path of others who follow you.
