Checked this book out from the library since they didn't have the book I wanted to borrow ("Angels" by the same author).
This is the first book I've read by Marian Keyes and I can defiantly say that she has a distinctive style. At first, I had trouble understanding the words she used since many of the characters "Irish speak". It took me a little while to settle into the book, but once I got all of the new words figured out, I did much better. The author writes with truth – sometimes making me laugh out loud and other times making me sob. Great story, but don't confuse this with "bubble gum" chick-lit; it is far more serious than that.
