This book was on the serious side of reading for me. It was a "National Bestseller", so it has merit. It is a fine piece of literature, but when I read, I want to relax. This book took me a little longer to read than most and I didn't relate to the characters very well. I did enjoy all of the New York references. The historical aspect comes into play with the references the book makes to the 9.11 tragedy.
