Sorry to the author, but good news for me... I snagged this book for only $1 at a book store that was going out of business. It was part of a 10 for $10 deal that I just HAD to take advantage of. (As if I didn't already have a pile of books to read, now I'm super behind! I collect them faster than I read them.)
Anyway, this was a good book and a fast, easy read. The story seemed really short at only 235 pages, but that could just be to me. I'm use to reading longer books.
The book is about a young lady that returns to her small hometown after being away for over 3 years. She ran away when she left without saying goodbye to anyone. I've read similar plots before – such as "The Book of Joe". This one didn't disappoint.
