I checked this audio book out from the library on a whim. I knew nothing of the author, and it was probably the second or third book on the shelf that I randomly read the synopsis.
I haven't read that many books that I would describe as chick-lit that were written by a man, but I have to say that I was impressed by the way the author described the female lead's feelings as she went through life. The book was really good overall. The language is a little crude at points, but it feels true to the characters.
