LOVED IT! Of course, I am a big fan of this author, so not much of a surprise. (Read the 435 pages in 3 days.)
It is about this lady that lives in London, she is down on her luck and her Great-Aunt (that she doesn't really know) dies. She has to go to the funeral and that is where she begins to be haunted. Although, I must tell you, this is not a scary book. It is endearing. It made me laugh and cry, plus there is a dash of mystery to the book.
I put the sci-fi/fantasy label on this book because of the ghost-factor, but that is the only sci-fi/fantasy piece of it.

"I have seen my family looking at me, gobsmacked, on a number of occasions in my time. But nothing has ever provoked a reaction like this. They're all turned in their seats, their jaws hanging in incomprehension like some kind of still-life painting. I almost want to laugh."
