This book will make you laugh & it's a great escape into someone else's problems. It will make you think about where you are going in life – while at the same time helping you to see that everyone has problems (maybe yours aren't so bad!)
A few of my favorite quotes...
"There is a strange-looking woman standing in the lift,
staring right at me. The woman is bright orange and looks absolutely petrified.
Oh $!*#.
It's a mirror.
Petrified woman is me.
Bollocks, how much [...] did I slap on? The bottle had promised... "
"We look at babies and we see ourselves, only without all the baggage. We can look into a baby's face and somehow imagine that life will be different for them. That it will be better. Kinder. Free from pain.'
"[...] you are the last person in the world who can ever truly know how you look. [...] we are not really looking at our face. We are looking at a map [...] We know every line. Every contour. Every inconsistency. And we are drawn to the bits we don't like."
